Done on-site at your apartment, in a parking lot, or at your home, or you can drop your car off with me near BYU campus. Prices depend on your year, make, and model, so send a request for an exact quote. Outside Provo, there's a $15 or $20 travel fee depending on the city. Drop-offs never have a travel fee.

Diagnostics and checkups

Have a check engine light on, or something weird going on with your car? I'll come to you, scan your car, look up the codes, and find out what needs attention.

Heading home for the break, moving, or planning a road trip? A checkup is a once-over that tells you what needs attention now and what can wait.

Both start at $45, and if you go ahead with a repair, half of the fee goes toward it.

  • Computer scan for trouble codes
  • Hands-on inspection to confirm the cause
  • Fluids, belts, hoses, brakes, tires, battery, and lights
  • Plain-language explanation and a repair quote before any work

Suspension work

Clunks over bumps, a bouncy ride, clicking when you turn, or tires wearing unevenly usually point to worn suspension parts. Every suspension job is different, so I quote each one based on your car and what it needs.

  • CV axles
  • Control arms
  • Shocks
  • Tie rods
  • Bearings
  • Ball joints

  • Brakes, suspension, and tires

Good to know

6-month warranty

6-month warranty on repairs and the parts I supply. Routine maintenance like oil changes, filters, and fluid services isn't covered, since those are regular services your car needs a few times a year.

Diagnostics and checkups from $45

If you go ahead with a repair, half of the fee goes toward it.

Bringing your own parts?

I can install parts you buy, but there's no warranty on them. That means no warranty on the parts themselves or on the labor to install them.

What to include in your request

  • Your VIN
  • What's happening, and when it started
  • Your phone number, so I can get back to you
  • Where the car is, or if you'd rather drop it off

Example of what's going on

My 2014 Honda Civic's brakes squeal when I stop. It started about a week ago and it's getting louder.
